Santa Anita ShowVivor Contest

Santa Anita came to Select Web Ventures with a unique idea for a free online handicapping contest called “ShowVivor” where contestants could select one horse from one race every day. As long as the horse “showed” in the race (got 3rd place or better), the contestant moved on to the next day. The contest has since evolved into competitions for various streaks and is a free fun alternative for patrons who can’t make it to the track.

The handicapping contest is a custom-built PHP application built on a MySQL database and a responsive Bootstrap 3 front-end.
